Announcing the Online Chanting School of the Serbian Tradition

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop of New Gracanica-Chicago and Metropolitan of Midwestern America Kyr Longin, the Youth Department is pleased to announce the launch of the Online Chanting School of the Serbian Tradition. This unique opportunity will offer participants the chance to deepen their understanding and skill in the sacred art of Serbian Orthodox chanting.

Course Details:

  • Start Date: September 25, 2024
  • End Date: December 11, 2024
  • Duration: 12 weeks (one class per week)
  • Focus: The course will primarily cover the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostomos. Additionally, students will learn about the Typikon—the structure of Liturgical Services.
  • Instructor: Protodeacon Jovan Anicic, Youth Director
  • Tuition: $300.00 per course
  • Class Size: Limited spaces available to ensure personalized instruction

Pre-Enrollment:

Pre-enrollment for the course will officially open on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 6:00 PM MT. Interested individuals are encouraged to register early, as spaces are limited. Those accepted into the course will be notified via email with a payment link. The deadline for payment is September 22, 2024.
