Repose of Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radomir Čkautović

Repose of Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radomir Čkautović

With sorrow, yet in the hope of the Resurrection, we announce the repose of our dear brother and concelebrant, Archpriest Stavrophor Radomir Čkautović, who fell asleep in the Lord during the night of February 3, 2026, at the age of 91.

Father Radomir was born on December 27, 1935, near Aleksandrovac, Serbia. For nearly four decades he faithfully served as a priest of the Serbian Church of the Holy Trinity in St. Louis, offering his life in pastoral care, prayer, and devoted ministry to his parish and to the wider Church. His steady presence, pastoral wisdom, and love for the Holy Altar left a lasting imprint on generations of the faithful.

He is survived by his children—Veroljub, Milomir, and Mila—his daughters-in-law Katarina and Kris, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, who remain a living testimony to his legacy of faith and family.
