Confession of the Chicago Deanery Clergy

Confession was held on Friday, April 8 in St. Archangel Michael Parish in Lansing, Illinois.

            Confessor was Fr. Tom Kazich, spiritual Father of the New Gracanica Monastery in Third Lake, Illinois. The Hours were served at 9 A.M. Father Milos officiated at the Hours. Helpers were few members of the church choir. Few clergy were in attendance. Following the Hours Liturgy of Presanctified Gift was served by Fr. Milos Vesin. After Holy Liturgy a delicious Lenten luncheon was served, which was prepared by the sisters of the church. After luncheon the clergy held informal meeting.  Discussion was held regarding future schedule of the Lenten Services in Chicago Deanery. Fr. Milos informed clergy about the status of the Theological School in Libertyville-New Gracanica. Fr. Milos and Fr. Aleksandar Novakovic were members of the delegation which visited Serbian Patriarchate. They also visited Holy Trinity Russian Seminary in Jordanville, NY. The work on the building in Libertyville has been in progress.

            The clergy thanked Fr. Milos and the St. Archangel Michael parish for a wonderful hospitality.

Darko Spasojevic, Dean of Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Chicago, Fr. Aleksandar Savic, parish priest of St. Simeon Church in South Chicago, Fr. Nikolaj Kostur, parish priest of Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Chicago. Helper was seminarian Milan.
