Bishop Longin Offers Condolences and Hope in the Resurrection for Marko Niketic

Bishop Longin of New Gracanica-Midwestern America expresses his heartfelt condolences to the family of Marko Niketic, age 17, of Glenview, IL, who passed away on Sunday evening, May 12, 2024. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved parents, Gordana and Nebojsa, his brother, Luka, and baka Rada.

As parishioners of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago, we find solace in the hope of the Resurrection of Christ and life eternal. May the Lord grant Marko rest in a place of light, a place of green pasture, a place of repose, where all sickness, sorrow, and sighing have fled away. May his memory be eternal.
