February 20, 2022 On the Sunday of The Prodigal Son and the commemoration of St. Parthenius we at Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church Ecorse, Michigan had the distinct Honor and great blessing of having His Grace Bishop Longin lead us in the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.

Serving the Heavenly Banquet the Divine Liturgy along with His Grace Bishop Longin were Protodeacon Milovan Gogic, Protodeacon Joseph Appling, Subdeacon Eric Stuart, Subdeacon Stefan Radovic, and Subdeacon Steven Boskovski. Some of the choir from St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Monroe, Michigan sang beautifully for us.

His Grace Bishop Longin elevated Fr. Jerome to Proto-presbyter and long time member Roy Radakovich received a Hierarchical Gramata of recognition. His Grace was very pleased to elevate Fr. Jerome by the request of all the members of Holy Ascension.

All of us at Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church are truly honored and thankful for having His Grace Bishop Longin as our Bishop and lead us today and always. We all also truly believe we must live in harmony with the mind of God, and in order to do this we must act in agreement with the mind of our Bishop, and we are to harmonize with him as completely as strings with a harp, and with one voice through Jesus Christ sing a song to the Father.
