Small Parish, Great Love: Metropolitan Longin Celebrates Liturgy in Sioux Falls

June 16, 2025

His Eminence Metropolitan Longin served the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Church of All Saints in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Concelebrating with him were Protopresbyter Sava Leida, parish priest Protopresbyter Đorđe Veselinović, and Protodeacon Milovan Gogić.

The joy of the Liturgy overflowed into the cutting of the Slava bread and a festive luncheon held in the parish hall. In his address, Metropolitan Longin noted that while the Serbian Orthodox community in South Dakota may be small in number, it is rich in love, self-sacrifice, and heartfelt hospitality.

We pray that the Lord will continue to gather us in unity in the days to come, so that together we may grow in faith, hope, and love. The faithful of Sioux Falls extended their gratitude to all the guests from neighboring parishes, and we offer our sincere thanks for the warm and generous hospitality we received.

May the blessing of God and of all His holy saints be with us always!
