The Youth Department of the Diocese of New Gracanica and Midwestern America is delighted to announce the Annual Great Lenten High School and College Retreat, set to take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. With the gracious blessing of His Grace Bishop Longin, this retreat promises to be a spiritually enriching experience for young individuals seeking a deeper connection with their faith.

Pilgrimage Visits to Sacred Monasteries:

The retreat will include visits to three esteemed monasteries, fostering an atmosphere of reverence and introspection:

  1. Most Holy Mother of God Monastery of New Gracanica, Third Lake, IL
  2. Saint Sava Monastery, Libertyville, IL
  3. Saint John Chrysostomos Monastery, Pleasant Prairie, WI

Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in pilgrimages, immersing themselves in the spiritual ambiance of these sacred places.
