His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije presided over the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy and the solemn act of ordination of the elected and nominated Archimandrite Seraphim as Bishop of Kostajnica, Vicar of the Metropolitan of Midwestern America, on October 13, 2024, at the Church of St. Sava in Belgrade.

Serving alongside His Holiness the Patriarch were the Most Reverend Archbishops Peter of Chicago and Mid-America, and George of Wrocław and Szczecin, as well as the Metropolitans Longin of Midwestern America, Pahomije of Vranje, and Atanasije of Mileševa. Also participating were the Right Reverend Bishops Isihije of Valjevo, Damaskin of Mohac, Alexei of Hvostan, Ilarion of Novo Brdo, Peter of Toplica, Nikon of Jenopolje, and Paisios of Diokleia.
